All Stainless Steel pan has an installed nipple to connect gas supply to pan and fire ring to pan. Designed to hold Lava Rock or Decorative Glass. They have water weep holes in the bottom, holes in the side to accommodate a pilot ignition system and a pilot shield. They also have a 1" (stainless steel) or 1 1/2" (aluminum) lip around the top so they can be set in a circular enclosure.
